End of April, one day before my move to England, I got to do my first newborn photo session in ages. I met little Piet when he was only 4 days old. I’ve had the pleasure to photograph his parents Nicole und Patrick before – when they got married and to document Nicoles growing baby bump.
I was really happy to hear that Piet made his way into this world just in time for me to photograph him before leaving Germany. So I went to Chemnitz and spent a few hours with the brand new family of three, documenting their life together. It’s always interesting and fun to see how parents and babies get to know and get used to each other. Suddenly life just makes a huge turn and there’s a happiness in the air centered around a new human being. It’s the most beautiful thing to watch and document.
